Refurbished Operating Theatres, Royal Preston Hospital

D & G Builders and Joiners deliver again, on a tight deadline, to provide upgraded operating theatres at the Royal Preston Hospital

The contract was carried out over a phased program lasting 2 years with T Jolly Services acting as main contractors.

D & G Builders carried out all the building works involved in the project to the high standards expected in this specialised area of works

the whole contract has been delivered to program and to the satisfaction of the clients .

New Contract Upgrading Pathology Dept

 

Andrew Ormerod has been placed in charge of the upgrading of the Pathology Department at The Royal Preston Hospital the contract involves the upgrading of various rooms within the Department and liaising with the other sub contractors involved in the scheme.

Andrew is well placed to run this contract as he has just finished looking after the Building Works part of the Theatre Upgrade on 13no Operating Theatres at the Royal Preston Hospital

Andrew will liaise with Mrs Emma Turner Contracts Co-ordinator on the scheme

New Training Room

D & G Builders and Joiners opens its new Training Room, with the space to accommodate up to 20 people in one training session.

 

The trainer now has excellent facilities, including drop down screens. The room also doubles up as a large meeting/presentation room.

CHAS

D & G Builders and Joiners have achieved CHAS accreditation for Health & Safety. We have worked closely with Rawlings Consultancy Services to achieve the accreditation. CHAS accreditation proves that the Company are dedicated to continued development in this field and we hold an enviable record.

Local authority health and safety and contract professionals, supported by the Health and Safety Executive, have developed the Contractor Health and Safety (CHAS) Assessment over recent years.

 

The scheme assesses adequacy and compliance of the health and safety policy statement, organisation for health and safety and specific arrangements to a single, common standard acceptable to CHAS members and users.

The Scheme can be used by any public sector organisation in their pre-qualification process for contractor application for approved/select list or short-listing.
